This survey was conducted online within the United States by The Harris Poll during September 23 – October 13, 2021, among 938 U.S. children ages 8 to 17. Respondents for this survey were selected from among those whose parents agreed to let them participate in our surveys. This online survey is not based on a probability sample, and therefore, no estimate of theoretical sampling error can be calculated. Figures for age within gender, race/ethnicity, parents’ education, region, size of household, school location (urbanicity), and weekly internet usage, were statistically weighted where necessary to bring them into line with their actual proportions in the population.
