Our third annual Brand Bowl index uses QuestBrand data to determine the change in brand equity – consumers’ perceived value of a company – from pre- to post-Super Bowl for companies who confirmed their intent to run national ads by February 10, 2023.
The index measures the tangible impact of advertisers’ marketing efforts on overall brand health. In this report, we rank brands by lift in overall brand equity, and across its four components: brand familiarity, perceived quality, purchase consideration, and perceived brand momentum, after Super Bowl LVII on February 12th, 2023.
Beyond the brand equity rankings, we further dive into viewers’ ad recall and some of this year’s Super Bowl top advertising trends including alcohol advertising, sports gambling, and the rampant use of QR codes.
