On August 1, 2024, the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Act (EU’s AI Act) took effect in Germany and within all other EU Member States. The EU’s AI Act offers the first comprehensive structure for AI regulation anywhere in the world. 

While German companies work to ensure that their AI technology works within the EU’s new regulations, we are taking a closer look at what German consumers think about AI. We also provide a cross-cultural analysis, exploring how German, British, and American AI perceptions differ.
